WHAT IS CHIVE TV?
CHIVE TV is a wifi streaming content-first digital signage software for restaurants, bars, and the hospitality industry. The programming is hand picked fresh viral videos and jaw dropping videos packaged and streamed via Roku. New content is added weekly.
ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR CHIVE TV?
The Basic package of CHIVE TV is free for venues and even includes a free Roku stick! If you’d like digital signage or a white label version (YOUR BAR NAME TV), then there is a monthly fee per venue. Click HERE for pricing.
IS THERE A CONTRACT FOR CHIVE TV?
No and yes. If you go with the Basic, free package, then you are contract free and can use CHIVE TV at your discretion. If you subscribe to the digital signage or white label product, then we do require a 1 year contract to keep CHIVE TV live on at least one TV in your venue.
HOW IS CHIVE TV DELIVERED TO MY VENUE?
Via a Roku Stick provided free of charge. A CHIVE TV app on Amazon Fire is coming soon!
IS THE CONTENT FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Absolutely. CHIVE TV’s are in thousands of venues ranging from sport bars to family dining restaurants so we make sure to keep the content G or PG rated. All videos are reviewed by choosey Chive moms before they are added to the programming.
WHO OWNS THE CONTENT?
100% of the content is either owned by Chive Media Group or licensed for the use on CHIVE TV from 3rd party vendors.
WHAT IF THERE IS CONTENT THAT I DON’T LIKE? CAN I CHANGE IT?
Absolutely. We are at your customers’ service and if there is a piece of content that isn’t gelling with your guests, then we will change it.
HOW OFTEN IS THE CONTENT UPDATED?
We remotely update the stream with new content once per week. CHIVE TV loops are 5 hours long before they replay. We add 1 new hour of content each week and bump off the oldest hour of content. A fresh 5 hours of new content is in place every 5 weeks.

DO I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR ADDITIONAL ROKU DEVICES?
The first Roku device is free. Additional Roku devices can be purchased for $30 each.
I LOST MY ROKU REMOTE, WHAT DO I DO?
Don’t panic. Contact us HERE and we will send you a new replacement remote free of charge. While you wait for the remote, you can download the Roku app for your phone and connect to the same wifi network that you setup CHIVE TV on and there is a remote function on the app. Magic.
MY ROKU IS CRASHING, WHAT DO I DO?
Unplug it and plug it back in. If that doesn’t do the trick, then contact us and we’ll troubleshoot and get you back in business asap.
